NTR 100 rupee coin: August 28 will go down in history as a day that was dedicated to the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, as today, President Droupadi Murmu released the commemorative Rs 100 coin on him. The joy and celebration among the people, especially among the Telugu population, skyrocketed after the big event. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, more popular by his initials NTR, was a known and respected name in India. NTR’s commemorative coin was launched on his centenary year at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in Delhi.

The President lauded NTR’s contributions to society and appreciated the Union Ministry of Finance for bringing NTR’s commemorative coin. The ceremony was also attended by his family and other popular personalities, including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Purandareswari, Ramakrishna, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, and more.

NTR was a hailed personality for his expertise in the fields of acting, filmmaking, and politics. He also served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years.

Taking to social media, the people expressed their joy over the coin.

“NTR ₹100 Coin officially launched by the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi It's a great honor for all Telugu People across the world,” a user wrote.
