Pakistani student claims Sun revolves around Earth: Students claiming bizarre theories as being true is quite common on the internet. Social media is full of content where people embarrass themselves without realising after they display an acute lack of basic knowledge. Joining the bandwagon, a Madrasa student from Pakistan recently went viral for his theory on how the Earth works. The student, while interacting with a reporter, claimed that the Earth is still and does not revolve around the Sun. He, in fact, added that the Sun and the Moon revolve around the Earth. He also said that this revolution of the Sun around the Earth is the reason why the Earth witnesses the change in seasons and weather, while the same is responsible for the days being shorter or longer.
The video was shared on social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the user ‘Krishna'. The post was captioned, “I burned my Science books after hearing this upcoming madrasa scientist from Pakistan.”
