English professor sells momos: The art of selling street food is not just about the food but also includes the enthusiasm displayed by the vendor. Exemplifying the same, an English professor from Lucknow is doing rounds on the internet for selling momos in an interesting manner. From his ‘momo with badam chutney’ combination to his fluent English to attracting customers, the man has gone viral on social media. The professor’s video was shared by a food blogger, Darpan Khurana. The said video was shared on the blogger’s Instagram handle ‘lifewithdarpan'. The caption of the post read, “English Professor selling Homemade momos with badam ki chutney and Schezwan sauce. 2 ghante me bech dete hai saare momos (He sells out all the momos in just 2 hours).”

In the video, the professor was seen selling momos as he tried to gain customers by announcing his well-thought-out method of making the snack. He was also heard assuring people that his “hygienically prepared” momos would surely win his customers. “Try homemade momos. You will surely like the taste. Very hygienically prepared, try once. And the moment you will eat, you will come to know the taste of the ingredients as well as the fillings inside. As I have told you, I have made the flour, the outer layering, and the shell of momos is very thin,” the man was heard saying while selling momos.

Taking to the comment section, the people shared their views. “Bhai isse badia Punjab me ielts ka tuition khol do (Instead of this shop, please open a tuition class in Punjab),” a user joked. “Bro describing momos like he made sushi,” commented a second user. “Imagine how many years a person spends researching and studying to qualify as a professor and spending so much and still the government fails to give jobs and good enough salary him ending up selling momos on the streets,” a third netizen pointed out. “Lmao people think this is a downgrade. If his stall runs even slightly above average he will make more money than being a teacher,” said a fourth. “That combination looks worth a try,” joined a fifth. “Grammatically prepared momos,” said a sixth.
