Viral Video: A video from a Pakistani news channel is going viral, but not for the reasons they expected. In the clip, the anchors confidently claim that Pakistani hackers have taken down 70% of India’s electricity supply and hacked major websites. One anchor can be seen saying with pride, “Unhone toh barbaad kar diya… 70% bijli nizaam hack kar liya,” while another adds, “Hum technology mein kitne advanced hain.”
But soon after the video started spreading, India’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) stepped in and cleared the air. They confirmed that the video is real, but the claims made in it are completely false. India’s power grid and websites are working fine, and there has been no such cyberattack.
Indian social media users didn’t hold back. The over-the-top confidence of the anchors became instant meme material, and people began trolling the video with sarcasm, jokes, and hilarious reactions. What was meant to show off turned into a viral moment of embarrassment, and Indians online made sure to have fun with it.

The viral video shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@TheSkandar' was captioned, "Pakistani media claims that Pakistani hackers have taken down 70% of India's electricity. Just a bunch of jokers. Meanwhile, Indians, Yeh Kab Hua." The video, shared yesterday, pulled 1.2 million views from social media users. The viral video received significant likes and comments from people.
One user wrote, "Where do they get so much confidence while lying?" "Yes, my toilet ka flush was hacked by Pakistan. Bro, this is scary," a second user wrote jokingly. "I can confirm this. Main lantern ki roshni se ye tweet kr raha hu, kabutar bheja hai twitter office. Mila, kya message? Hello," added a third user. "These people now need a reality check! They aren’t even funny anymore. They are just terribly stupid and delusional," a fourth user wrote.
"This poor girl is sooooo delusional that she genuinely thinks this news to be true. If a decent padha likha small anchor on Paki TV is this delusional, you can guess how the rest of the population must be feeling who probably last saw a book when Pakis surrendered by signing it," a fifth user commented. "The level of delusion in Pakistan is just hilarious. These people deserve their government that spends nothing on the betterment of them but all on terrorists," added a sixth user. "Which electricity? The ones on blackout?" humorously wrote another user.
