Viral Video: Alfredo, Arrabbiata, Pesto, Marinara and to name a few more, are the pasta dishes that the rest of the world might go for, but for Indians, the story is a bit different. Here, until Alfredo is not served with tomato ketchup, and until there are no vegetables like everyone’s favorite potato in it, the dish is a waste! Kidding, of course. But this extremely exaggerated joke can still NOT overpower the fact that Indians do come up with bizarre food combinations sometimes. And pasta, unfortunately, too has fallen victim to such ‘experimental creativity’ more than once.
Proving the same, a video recently surfaced online, where a woman shared a video of pasta made by her cook. What made the clip go viral, was the fact that the said pasta was cooked in the ‘Chole Gravy’.
The video went viral and left people reacting to it. Some expressed their desire to taste it, while the rest were not so happy. Some also liked the last-minute dish the cook experimented with.
The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘chandlersharesfood’. The post was captioned, “When your cook makes pasta in Chole ki gravy?”

The video gained all kinds of mixed reactions, making it go viral on social media. Most refused to call it a dish, while the rest dubbed the pasta ‘illegal’ and joked about the same. Many also recalled their similar experiences where their cooks made something unexpected. The video was shared a while back and pulled 89K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Let’s send this to the Italians, they will die of heart attack,” a user said. “He : Italian khana hai ya desi? She: yes!” read a second user. “I think fusion recipes are great. Look at how we have indianised Chinese food,” said the third. “See, all these things are happening in the house, so keep it inside your home only. No need to give such ideas to the internet,” added fourth.
“This might be a last-minute recipe since the cook might not have a choice, but man, I don’t know what to say,” said a fifth netizen. “Lmao once my cook added turmeric, potato, and cauliflower to the arabbiatta pasta; it tasted illegal,” recalled a sixth user. “Yeah I would eat this. It’ll taste good. Put a bit of cheese on it too,” wrote a seventh person.
