Unlike movies, a pickup line almost never works. In fact, most of the flirty notes end up in a dustbin, especially when they are handed on a busy street by a random person. But living a movie-like moment, a woman in Pune found a note adorable after she was handed it by a man on a street. Sharing her joy over the cute note, the woman took it to her social media handle and shared the same with the internet community. However, the entire incident took a 180, after the netizens were not at all amused with the post. In fact, most people questioned the note’s authenticity and called such posts and incidents common for making Instagram reels. Some others contradicted the story’s intentions against their bad experience that they gained from the same area. 

The post was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the user ‘Sanjal Sangle’. It was captioned, “Fc road gives you crazy validation. was walking down the street when this dude handed me this paper saying I dropped it.”

As soon as the post surfaced online, people started reacting to it, making it go viral. Most found it funny and questioned the authenticity of the note, while others speculated the post was part of some reel or YouTube video. Few also recalled their experiences that happened to them at the same location mentioned on the post. The post was shared yesterday and received 302K followers.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This one's for all you beacons of Pune 4! I don't recall any such stories from the time I studied at Fergie yonks ago though,” a user said. “Most probably you reaction got recorded and the reel is coming soon on Instagram I guess.... Bahut chal rha h aajkal (This has become common these days),” added another user. “No guy has this good of a handwriting,” said a third person. “I believe that guy tried his luck and got your attention. nice but he said Dur se.... I am not sure near se kaise laga hoga,” said a fourth user. “0 validation back in those days at fc road though,” said a fifth user.
