Phone Theft Safety Awareness Video: Ever thought your phone was safe while sitting by the train window? Well, think again. A viral video on X has everyone talking after showing an Indian railway constable cleverly demonstrating just how easily phones can be snatched through train windows. The short video, shared by X user @sathyashrii, is winning hearts online for its unique way of spreading awareness about passenger safety. In the viral video, the constable can be seen standing on a crowded railway platform, reaching through a train window to show how thieves often grab phones from passengers who keep them too close to the edge.
Inside the coach, a woman sits by the window with her phone placed on the ledge. The officer points toward it and quickly shows how a thief could snatch it in seconds. At first, the woman looks surprised but soon smiles, realising he’s only trying to warn her and others to be careful.
Text on the video reads, “Effective Way To Spread Awareness”, and netizens couldn’t agree more. Though the video doesn’t reveal the exact location, it seems to be filmed at a busy station in a major city, where railway awareness drives are often held.

The video shared two days ago crossed 1 million views, with people online praising the constable’s creative and practical approach. Many users called it a perfect example of 'real action for real awareness.'
"Hope someone finds such a creative, harmless way to teach our people not to litter and spit," a user wrote. Likewise, in Lucknow Railway Station, the police did with my luggage when I was sleeping and waiting for my next train," a second user wrote. "Unfortunately, people are very careless. This will not help in spreading awareness," wrote a third user.
"The way she immediately calmed down once she noticed that it was a policeman," added a fourth user. "Nothing will happen, they'll simply go back to their moronic habit. You think they haven't seen enough reels about it to understand?" added another user.
