Rajasthan SDM Viral Video: A tense incident unfolded on Tuesday, October 21, at a petrol pump in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, leaving social media buzzing. CCTV footage shows a heated argument between SDM Chhotu Lal Sharma and petrol pump employees at the Jaswantpura CNG station on the Ajmer-Bhilwara Highway around 3:44 PM. The viral video shows SDM Sharma getting out of his car while a staff member is filling the tank of a white car.

He reportedly shouted, “SDM hun main yahan ka (I am the SDM here),” before slapping the attendant. Reports suggest the argument began because the employee chose to fill another vehicle before the SDM’s.

When another worker intervened and questioned the SDM, he was slapped as well. One employee raised his hands in retaliation, while another tried to calm the situation. Sharma’s wife also joined in, shouting, as the SDM hurled abuses and warned, “You dare lay a hand on the SDM?” The video even shows him following a worker during the ongoing argument.

SDM Files Complaint:

After the incident, SDM Sharma approached the Raila Police Station and filed a complaint. He alleged that one of the petrol pump employees misbehaved with his wife while he had stopped for refueling during a visit home for Diwali. However, CCTV footage reportedly does not support this claim.

In his complaint, the SDM mentioned that the altercation escalated after his wife yelled at the employees. He also said the petrol pump workers abused him and raised their hands against him.

Police Take Action:

Raila Police Station SHO Bachhraj Choudhary confirmed that three employees, Deepak Mali, Prabhu Lal Kumawat, and Raja Sharma, were arrested in connection with the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

While some criticise the official for his actions, others question the staff’s conduct during the incident, making it a topic of widespread discussion across social media.
