Bhuban Badyakar, the singer behind the viral hit 'Kacha Badam', which once captured the hearts of people across the country, has recently been back in the spotlight. Known for his powerful and bold voice, Bhuban’s journey has been changed and a recent video by YouTuber Nishu Tiwari sheds light on his current life and situation. Many of us might have almost forgotten about the craze, but the video reminded everyone of the sensation and the man behind it.

How Did 'Kacha Badam' Fame Change Bhuban's Life?

The song 'Kacha Badam', which went viral a few years ago, completely changed Bhuban’s life. Previously, he lived in a small house with limited electricity and minimal facilities in West Bengal's small village Kuraljuri. Today, he has a proper home with lights, fans and painted walls. In the video, Bhuban introduces himself, saying he is now 55 years old and has even performed his famous song again. Over the years, he has received several awards for his music.

How Did Bhuban's 'Kacha Badam' Song Go Viral?

Bhuban revealed that he created 'Kacha Badam' four years ago while selling raw almonds on the streets. Many customers loved the catchy tune and one of them recorded a video of him singing it and shared it on social media. The video went viral overnight, bringing Bhuban instant fame.

Later in the video, Bhuban also shared that he received cash prizes for his song. However, he did not earn from the copyright. Unfortunately, he lost his copyright rights after being made to sign documents unfairly, which allowed others to claim ownership. As a result, although he earned some money initially, he eventually lost significant income and had to take the matter to court.
