Calling out a couple for a ‘dirty trick’ to get free food and to inform other restaurants about the duo’s trick, a restaurant took the matter into their own hands and shared a video that left many irked. The video was a recording of CCTV footage where the duo was seen sitting in a booth right below the camera. The woman in the clip was then seen putting her hair in her food so that the duo could return the half-eaten meal and ask for a refund. As soon as the restaurant noticed the couple doing the trick, they were quick to take action as they shared the same footage on social media, which instantly went viral.
The video was shared on the social media platform Facebook, on the handle ‘The Observatory’. The post was captioned, “This is not something we like to do, but this industry is difficult enough without people like this sabotaging their own food in order to claim refunds at our expense. Hopefully, this will save other establishments suffering at the hands of these two chancers.”
The video went viral after it was shared on social media to spread awareness. Most people chastised the duo for their dirty trick and called them out for their questionable behaviour, while others appreciated the restaurant’s efforts in spreading awareness. The video was shared a few days ago and received hundreds of views from the netizens.
