The film world woke up to heartbreaking news, and social media instantly filled with grief as fans shared emotional posts remembering the man they proudly called Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’. Legendary actor Dharmendra passed away at 89 after a long illness, leaving millions of admirers shattered. The veteran star had been unwell for weeks and was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital before being shifted back home for further care. Concern grew even more when an ambulance was seen outside his residence, and reports later confirmed that the actor had been battling serious health issues for some time.

Filmmaker Karan Johar also paid his respects with a deeply moving note on Instagram. His message read, “It is the end of an ERA….. a massive mega star… the embodiment of a HERO in mainstream cinema… incredibly handsome and the most enigmatic screen presence … he is and will always be a bona fide Legend of Indian Cinema… defining and richly present in the pages of cinema history…”
