Robot Dog Viral Video: A new tech sensation has grabbed everyone’s attention in Bengaluru, and it’s not a person, it's a robot dog casually strolling through the streets. The sight has left people both amazed and curious, especially because this futuristic machine is not just cool to look at but also packed with serious power. The clip, shared by @Runtime on X, shows the 35 kg robot dog moving smoothly. It can work non-stop for eight hours and you can even swap its batteries while it’s running.
A popular tech influencer, Caleb, reposted it with excitement and revealed the mind-blowing part: PARAM is almost made in India. According to him, PARAM is "almost entirely indigenous," with the only foreign parts being the actuators and the Nvidia Jetson GPU. Caleb also highlighted how surprising its creation story is.

Oh, and it was built by a team of 5 people in 30 days. IP67 rated, running temperature: -20C to +55C." Yes, you read that right, just five people built this tough, waterproof, desert-to-freezer-ready robot dog in only one month.

The video shared on X sparked conversations online, with people calling PARAM a huge moment for Indian tech and showing excitement about what innovations might come next. "But it is remote-controlled!? What are the potential use cases of these small robots?" a user wrote. "Now, make it map the entire city and label all the urban mistakes that the city has made. Should be fun," a second user wrote.
"What about the software? That's the most crucial factor of any robot. 30 days is definitely not enough to develop such software. Assembling a computer is not the same as creating a computer," wrote a third user. "If this can have wheels plus stairs climbing, other than walking, this can be used for most day-to-day errand tasks like automated deliveries, etc," added a fourth user.
