Russian Woman Viral Video: People often say living in India is cheap but one viral video is now challenging that idea. A Russian woman living in Gurugram has shocked the internet after revealing what she calls her basic expenses and the numbers are anything but basic. Shared on Instagram by Viktoriia Kovan, the clip begins with the line: “They say life in India is soooo cheap… Also, my basic monthly expenses in Gurugram.” In her breakdown, she claimed to spend a whopping Rs 1,20,000 on accommodation alone, along with Rs 1,000 per Uber Black ride, Rs 15,000 on electricity, Rs 30,000 on shopping, Rs 20,000 on medicines and Rs 40,000 on groceries.

Along with the video, she wrote, “Real facts, prepare your pockets to maintain a good lifestyle in Gurgaon.” After the clip blew up, she clarified, “Guys, I’m not complaining, just giving facts. That to maintain a good lifestyle, you need to prepare your pockets.”

The video immediately divided the internet. Many argued that her lifestyle was unnecessarily expensive, suggesting she could switch from Uber Black to regular Uber, choose a less costly apartment and cut down on shopping. But others sympathised, saying everyone defines comfort differently and it’s her choice how she spends her money.

The post shared just a day ago pulled 1.3 million views from people online. "1,20,000 Rs in Rent? Babe, your owner is ripping you off," a user wrote. "It’s upsetting but living in India is actually cheaper and better. You’re getting ripped off but what can we say? Be our guest," a second user. "120000 for flat!??? You live in heaven or something?? Need a room tour ASAP," wrote a third user.

"Maybe take a regular Uber instead of black? An apt with lower rent if it’s too high? Most of these seem like active choices rather than the baseline? And this is coming from someone in Mumbai," added a fourth user. "Electricity 15k??? I have a 10bhk house with 6 family members... at once minimum of 4 acs run in my house fans and lights 24x7... tv, a high-end gaming pc... all that in peak summer and then I have 15k-20k electricity bill... what are you running in your 1 bhk?" asked another user.
