Kerala Woman Viral Video: Every few days, a new video reminds us of the harsh reality of women’s safety in India. Recently, a clip from Kerala went viral showing a woman boldly slapping a harasser on a bus, a moment many called satisfactory. But before the buzz around that incident even faded, another video started trending online and this one left people feeling frustrated because there was no confrontation at all. The viral reel, shared on Instagram by 'Angel____baby,' shows an elderly man allegedly staring at the chest of a young woman sitting beside him throughout a bus ride. This time, instead of reacting directly, the woman decided to record the moment herself as proof.
In the caption, she explained that she was on her way to celebrate Onam, dressed in a saree, and wanted to highlight that clothes are never the reason behind such harassment. “Onam with kazhapan. The reason I am posting this reel is because some people say that dressing is the problem !ee video,” the post read.

The video, shared just a day ago, has quickly gathered over 33.2 million views. While many users expressed anger at the disturbing behaviour, others pointed out how common and exhausting such experiences are for women every single day.
"Average Indian men or uncle's behaviour," a user wrote. "Some people argue that he is looking at the phone. No, he’s not looking at the phone. Watch closely, you can see when he glances at the phone and when he shifts his eyes back at her. The angles are different, and it’s obvious what he’s really trying to do," a second user wrote.
"You wear saree, dress, shorts, or cover the whole damn thing with burqA, men will behave the same.. Some men, not all, but girls have to face a lot of such things on a daily basis, and that is exhausting apart from their personal lives to carry on," wrote a third user. "I honestly can’t believe some boys are still defending this old creep. That’s not maturity, that’s pure ignorance. Not every girl reacts the same way when something like this happens. Some people may freeze, some people may respond differently," added another user.
