Stranded Bear's Rescue From Open Well Impresses Internet; Netizens Laud Efforts | Watch Video

Open wells, especially in remote areas, are becoming a bigger problem day by day. Incidents related to these open wells being a severe threat to humans and animals in many areas are increasing drastically. Where on the one hand, a missing human or a known pet can still trigger the people around them of their absence, there on the other hand, a wild animal stuck in an open well, may not always receive timely help. 

With that said, an incident proving the threat the open wells pose, took place in Odisha's Nabrangpur, where a wild bear was left stuck in an open well. However, a rescue team soon took to its business and started to rescue the scared furry ball. The video of the same rescue operation posted on the Twitter handle 'Susanta Nanda', is now going viral, as the netizens are left impressed by the efforts of the rescue team.

The clip with the caption, "Trained bear rescue team from Nabrangpur, successfully rescuing a bear that had fallen in to an open well. Subsequently released in its habitat in Kalahandi South division. Kudos to the team. Time to have a strict law to prevent open wells in wildlife habitat," showed the team pulling out the stranded animal from the well. Understanding the importance of living in natural habitats, the team soon let the wild beauty go free in the forest area, which was also shown in the viral video.

The clip is receiving tons of love and support towards the poor bear and the rescue team for freeing the stranded animal. "Stay safe sweet child," a user wrote.

Whereas for some, the existence of the trained rescue team was something new, as they wrote, "wow, we have a trained bear rescue team, nice to know."

Meanwhile, some users also appreciated the cleverness shown by the team in completing the mission without harming the bear or getting harmed in the process. "Great. The last part of getting the bear inside the cage is very cleverly done," the user commented.
