Gurugram Viral Post: Imagine this, a classroom full of students attending lectures, and right there in the middle, a stray dog peacefully sleeping. This scene from Government College for Women, Sector 14, Gurugram, has now become the talk of the internet. The photo, shared by a social media user, raised concerns about security inside women’s colleges. The user wrote that students were “sitting in fear” as stray dogs moved around freely and even used classrooms as their resting place.
Questioning the authorities, the post asked, “Who ensures the safety of young women here? Is this Millennium City college?” Soon, the debate went beyond this single photo. Some people said the issue showed how important it is to ensure both student safety and kindness towards stray animals. While a few supported the concerns, others felt the post was exaggerated and not as serious as it looked.

The post shared yesterday received significant likes, comments and views from social media users. "No one is in fear. One of you will start the hatt! Hatt! and the call it an “attack” if a dog as much as barks as a startle response, then you will say it is aggressive. Then the press will write a dark piece using a random overused picture and some headline with the word menace," a user wrote.
"Sounds like you are the biggest scammer. The picture clearly shows there is no fear from the students, other than that they are just minding their own business, while the dog is minding its own. Next time, try harder before trying to scam others," a second user wrote. "All students are at peace. Only you are spreading hate. Even in DU, most of our dogs used to sleep in classes, and they were taken care of by the management. No bites, nothing. Spew your gate somewhere else," added another user.

"What you focus on is what you get. Fear begets fear. Compassion begets compassion. The environment is perfectly peaceful. It's the reading of it that is hateful. You can learn from this instead of putting a twist to it," a fourth user added. "The students sit stress-free. Media decides to instil fear and spread hate," wrote another user.
