LinkedIn Viral Post: A LinkedIn post recently went viral, showing the touching story of a Swiggy delivery partner named Pankaj. The post was shared by Mayank Agarwal, a CEO based in Gurugram, who was surprised to find a little girl sitting on the bike of the man delivering his food.
In the viral post, Mayank shared that he had asked the delivery agent to come upstairs, but during the phone call, he heard a child’s voice in the background. Curious, he decided to meet him at the gate instead. That’s when he saw Pankaj with his daughter, Tun Tun, who is just about two years old. Pankaj told him he brings Tun Tun along on deliveries because there's no one else to take care of her. Her elder brother is busy with evening classes, and sadly, their mother passed away while giving birth.
Despite the tough situation, Pankaj doesn’t complain. He quietly manages both work and parenting on his own. Some people have even said to him, “Sit at home if you can’t manage—having a toddler is your problem.” But still, “he had no complaints—only a quiet smile,” Mayank wrote.
He ended the post by requesting people to show some kindness and understanding, reminding everyone that Pankaj isn’t doing this by choice. “Before anyone raises concerns about child safety, please understand, he’s doing this because he has no option,” he added. “I just hope someone from Swiggy reads this and finds a way to support him.”

The viral post shared on LinkedIn by Mayank Agarwal received many reactions from people. Many users were quick to react to the viral post. One user wrote, "The love of a father is underrated in this world. You barely find them expressing what they actually feel for their child, but this... This shows everything." "The delivery boys are not robots, they are human with everything human like. The system is unfair to them because of the unemployment situation. You really brought to awareness what normally stays hidden in sight," a second user added.
"This reminded me of the days when I was in a similar situation. When my toddler’s mother was unwell, I had no choice but to take her with me for about a week. It was tough, but time passed, and now she’s five. Knowing that the little girl in the story has lost her mother, I can only imagine how much harder it must be for him. I truly hope things get better for him and he finds a more manageable way to handle everything. Thank you for sharing this, Mayank Agarwal," a third user added.
"This is deeply moving. A little institutional empathy can go a long way in changing lives. I’ve been privy to both sides of this world where delivery partners act extremely unprofessionally and some genuine gems that actually deserve a lot more than what they are entitled to, it’s a hard ship to navigate," a fourth user commented. "Being kind and a little considerate truly takes you a long way, with everyone, at every level. I genuinely appreciate this moment of humanity you’ve shared. It’s a beautiful reminder that compassion still exists, and it matters more than we think," added another user.
