Newlyweds Viral Video: Newlyweds Caio Gomes, a Brazilian doctor, and his wife, Fernanda Diniz, a businesswoman, were enjoying their honeymoon in the Maldives when their cruise took a terrifying turn. Just 40 minutes into the journey, a massive wave hit their ship. According to reports, the vessel didn’t sink right away, it began tilting after 20 minutes.
Passengers were given no warning about the danger. The crew simply told them to wear life jackets and jump into the ocean. In the chaos, Gomes and Diniz discovered their life vests wouldn’t inflate, leaving them struggling in rough waters. Desperately searching for help, they found a single working life jacket and clung to it together.
Thankfully, no one was injured, but the couple described the experience as deeply traumatic. A video of the incident, now viral, shows passengers battling the waves and manually inflating their vests. What was meant to be a romantic trip turned into a fight for survival—one they will never forget.
