Viral Video: The phrase ' why friend-shaped when not friendly’ reached its maximum level after a video of a tiger ‘hanging out’ with its toy ball in a pond went viral on social media. Giving the ultimate ‘relaxing summer goals’ to almost everyone, the big cat was seen ‘sunbathing’ while attempting to take a nap on the floating toy that was a bit too small to handle the furry one’s weight, which made the clip even more adorable. The said tiger, as per the viral post, was rescued around 18 months back and was named ‘Maruay’. As soon as the video was shared on the internet, people were quick to point out the furry one’s adorable ‘orange cat behaviour’.

The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘wildlife_friends_foundation’. The post was captioned, “An uninterrupted minute of Maruay with his beloved ball. The blissful look on his face is priceless.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Gonna tell my kids this was Life of Pi,” a user said. “If dangerous, why so adorable,” said another. “Proof that he is an orange car,” joined a third person. “Take the ball away, I wanna see his reaction,” added a fourth user. “I know it’s a tiger, but why do I want to pet him, hug him and play with him? I’m even feeling that cute aggression rush,” said another.

“2 things are happening here. Either that big 300+lb tiger identifies as a house cat...or a cat will always be a cat regardless of the size lol. So damn adorable,” added a sixth person. “What's up with all these cutesy endangered wildlife videos as though making them into our fun playthings is in their best interest!” said another.

“This tiger was rescued from which place ?? Even with his ball, he makes me cry, such a beautiful animal reduced to please tourists before certainly and now living in another prison created by humans !! Terrible destiny but he is saved,” added next.
