Google's Most Searched Memes 2023: If we could, we would have started this one with all the tunes that ended up sticking in our minds after scrolling Instagram reels all day, every day, for the last (almost) 365 days this year (But technology is not that advance and you will have to stick with reading only). And no, songs do not leave that kind of impact, it's memes that we are talking about here; because yes, we did it. And by ‘we’, we mean Indians. This year, Indians collectively searched memes at a level that Google recently released the list of the top 10 memes that were searched the most and the winners are not disappointing. The list is rather apt. It has it all, from ‘Bhupendra’ and ‘Moye Moye’ to ‘Elvish’.
So, we thought to take a look at these memes that impressed Indians the most, so much so that they emerged at the top.
Here are the top 10 most searched memes in 2023 on Google:
Bhupendra Jogi Meme

Places in the US lost their names after Bhupendra Jogi’s confusion created the best meme ever. Hence, the ‘Bhupendra Jogi’ meme is at the top of the list and was Googled the most this year.
So Beautiful So Elegant Meme

The second most searched meme had to be the ‘Just like a wow’ meme, because why not? From celebrities to common reelers, everyone hopped onto the ‘So Beautiful So Elegant’ meme in the last couple of months.
Moye Moye Meme

Moye Moye, Moye Moye…Tatataaa (that’s us singing because it’s that hard to resist). Of course, the third on the list is the ‘Moye Moye’ meme. Might be ‘Moye More’ for the rest of the world, but to Indians- Moye Moye it is!
Moye Moye Meme
We kind of don’t know what to make out of this except the fact that maybe this was way too good that Google named it at two places- third and fourth. But yes, Moye Moye, here we go again- Moye Moye, Moye Moye…Tatataaa!
Aukat Dikha Di Meme

If you do not know this meme, then ‘thumne apni aukat dikhadi’. Sorry for the language but who does not know about this one? The fifth one to take the charts is the ‘Aukat Dikha Di’ meme.
Ohio Meme
The next on the list is the ‘Ohio’ meme. Basically, every typical thing happens in Ohio it seems.
The Boys Meme
The seventh meme on the list is basically the new-gen version of the ‘boys will be boys’ phrase. ‘The Boys’ meme also secured a place on the list.
Elvish Bhai Meme
“Elvish Bhaiiii…Elvish Bhai ke aagee koi bol sakta hai kya?” Ring a bell? Well, obviously, the next on the list is the Elvish Yadav-inspired ‘Elvish Bhai’ meme.
The Waffle House New Host Meme
Surprisingly, this one on the list has no significant meaning, but Gen Z made it happen anyway. Next on the list is the ‘Waffle House New Host’ meme.
