Top 10 Most Expensive Cat Breeds In World: Cats are probably one of those furry ones who no matter what breed, will always end up making their human friends fall for them. In fact, there is a reason why in recent years, people have begun to address them as the ‘human owners’ jokingly, in order to show adoration towards their ‘bossy’ yet ‘loving’ nature. And among all these varieties of ‘purr-fect’ breeds working together to make humans their slave, there are a few that are considered the most expensive for some or the other reason. Although- disclaimer- every cat is beautiful and deserves to be worth millions. 

So for today, we thought to take a look at that. We found a list of some of the most expensive cat breeds in the world. The list was compiled by the ‘financesonline’. 

Here are the top 10 most expensive cat breeds in the world: 

Ashera Cat 

On the very top, we have one of the rarest ones that a human can befriend- the Ashera cat. A combination of the Asian leopard cat and the domestic cat, the Ashera are beautiful and are often considered close to the Savannah cats. They can cost around USD 125,000  or more. 

Savannah Cat 

The second on the list of the most expensive cat breeds is the Savannah cat. With a sharp face and pointy ears, the Savannah cats can be friendly when it comes to their human friends. These babies can cost around USD 50,000.

Bengal Cat

Another beauty on the list is the Bengal cat, which can cost around USD 25,000. Their unique spots give them a closer resemblance to leopards, but only further cuter. 

Persian Cat

The next cat on the top four of the list of the most expensive cat breeds in the world is the Persian cat. The furry one costs around  USD 5,500 and is known for its classy fluffy look. 

Peterbald Cat 

The fifth one on the list is the adorable Peterbald cat. They look similar to the Sphynx, only these share a more similar face with other breeds and are a Russian breed. They cost around USD 5000.

The next on the list are the ever-famous Sphynx cats. They are hairless and are one of the cutest with tiny faces. They cost around USD 3000. And despite popular belief, they are reportedly from Canada, not Egypt. 

Scottish Fold Cat

The next on the list are the cute Scottish Fold cats. As their name suggests, their distinct feature is their cute pair of folded ears that make them more adorable to look at. They cost around USD 3000.

Russian Blue Cat 

The next cat that we have on the expensive cat breeds list is the Russian Blue cat. They have beautiful greyish blue fur and cost around USD 3000. 

American Curl Cat 

Unlike other cats, this furry baby has round ears. The next on the list is the American Curl cat and it costs around USD 1200.
