Twin Sisters, Unaware Of Each Other’s Existence, Reunite After 19 Years Since Birth Through Tiktok

In a story that sounds much like a movie plot with a twisty end, two long-lost twins, unaware of each other’s existence, found each other after 19 years of their birth through social media. The incident took place in Georgia, when a 19-year-old, Ano Sartania, came across a video on TikTok, that had a girl that shared a striking resemblance to Ano herself. To Ano's shock and surprise, the woman in the video turned out to be her twin sister, Amy Khvitia. As the two met and began to dig the matter out, the story was revealed to be much darker and scarier in real life.

As per the BBC reports, this was not the first time when one of the twins noticed the other. Amy was the one who saw Ano for the first time when the girls were just 12 years old. Ano was reportedly part of Amy’s ‘favourite’ reality show- Georgia's Got Talent. The girl was confused to find a dancer who looked much like her but did not think of it much. 

Years later, when the two began to uncover their truth, it turned out that their father Gocha Gakharia, was the one who sold the poor girls when they were just babies. Their mother on the other hand, Aza Shoni, reportedly fell into a coma during the time of birth. As the two dug a bit deeper, the horrible truth of Georgia was uncovered, where it was reportedly revealed that thousands of babies were stolen from the hospital years back. The latest cast of stolen babies, as the BBC reports, was reported in 2005. Most of the babies were sold, just like Ano and Amy.

What was further coincidentally surprising in this case, was that both Ano and Amy lived just a few kilometres away before they discovered each other. Ano, who was raised in Tbilisi, was not so far from her sister Amy, who was raised in a different family in Zugdidi.

As soon as the case went viral, the chilling fact that thousands of babies and siblings are still unaware of each other's existence, left people terrified.
