Twitter owner Elon Musk's Twitter has undergone countless changes since the billionaire traded places with former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Biding a farewell to the iconic 'blue bird' symbol, the microblogging app has introduced its biggest change so far. In a bid to rebrand the social media platform, Twitter's logo has been changed to 'X'. The change was announced by Elon Musk through a series of tweets.

"And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds," Musk tweeted, which was then followed by other tweets on the same matter.

Musk also posted a picture of the office building that had a projection of the new logo 'X' on it and captioned it "Our headquarters tonight".

Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino also posted a few tweets that spoke volumes about the new change and the new logo.

"It’s an exceptionally rare thing – in life or in business – that you get a second chance to make another big impression. Twitter made one massive impression and changed the way we communicate. Now, X will go further, transforming the global town square," she tweeted.

However, as soon as the change made it to the internet, the move left the netizens divided. Some netizens liked the idea and were open to the new logo. Meanwhile, some called it a wrong move.
