Kpop Music Awards: The two mega nights for the Kpop industry this year, February 17 and 18, turned into a nightmare after a series of questionable events unfolded one after the other during the 31st Hanteo Music Awards. The 2023 Hanteo Music Awards, which were held in Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza, were supposed to be all about the honourable winners who took several recognitions and awards home, only it instead became all about used condoms, poop, and peeing fans. Yes, believe it or not, but as per several fans and other social media posts, used condoms were spotted in the bins, whereas a fan pooped on the stage, and not to forget the fans who peed in public during the event. 

Soon after the award show, videos and pictures of the idols reacting to the ‘disgusting shenanigans’ that were unfolding in front of them began to surface online. From the stars trying to get the situation under control to the security running around frantically, flooded the internet in no time. 

Taking to the internet, fans shared their take. Some called the entire thing confusing and ‘unexpected’, while others criticised people who went out of control and created the entire nuisance. 

“Tf was going on at the hanteo music awards? i’ve heard like 5 different stories, somebody shat themself? a fight broke out? people were dehydrated and pushing each other? like wtf was going???” a user said.

“Mingi told security to give out water in crowd and Hongjoong was worried about crowd at Hanteo Music Awards,” said fifth.
