Labubu Doll At Karl Marx Grave: You’d never expect to see a wide-eyed toy from today’s trendiest collections sitting quietly on the grave of a man who stood firmly against everything it represents, but that’s exactly what’s left the internet buzzing. At London’s Highgate Cemetery, visitors were stunned to find a Labubu doll placed on the grave of Karl Marx, the revolutionary thinker who fought against capitalism and its deep grip on society. Known for being a part of the Pop Mart series, Labubu is all about surprise boxes, collector hype, and rarity. Basically, it’s a poster child of modern consumer culture. So when this plush little symbol of capitalism showed up at the final resting place of its biggest critic, people couldn’t believe their eyes.
The photo quickly went viral, sparking laughter, surprise, and serious irony. A toy driven by scarcity and resale madness now sits beside the man who called out the dangers of such systems. Internet users called it one of the most ironic moments in recent memory, and for good reason.

But alongside the doll was something that truly touched hearts, a handwritten letter from a Chinese student, Liu Yuhae. She thanked Marx for shaping her thoughts, admitted struggling to understand his complex ideas, and wrote a sweet line, "I already look like a potato now... It has always been my long-cherished wish to cook potatoes for you every day in the afterlife."
