Viral Snake Video: Call it a result of deforestation or simply bad luck for the people who faced it, but the incidents where some of the most deadly reptiles, snakes, ended up entering a residential area have only increased in the past years. Adding another one to the list, a massive 11-foot-long king cobra accidentally entered a house in Odisha. A video of some forest officials rescuing the scaled animal was shared on the internet, which went viral for obvious reasons. As per reports, the snake was chasing a monitor lizard, which led the reptile into the house. The king cobra, after a safe rescue, was released into the Dukra wildlife range, as per the news agency ANI.

The king cobra video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the news handle ANI. The post was captioned, “11-ft long King Cobra snake was rescued from a house in Bangra village yesterday and released into the Dukra wildlife range, in Mayurbhanj this morning.” The video was shared three days ago and pulled more than 23K views from people.

Taking to social media, people shared their take. “Risky but at least the incident made sure that people should become aware that we need to coexist with different creatures, and instead of killing snakes they are released in the world by these young snake rescuers, thereby restoring a natural balance,” a user said.

“Man, this snake is simply too massive. I would have fainted the minute I would have spotted something like that. Kudos and a big thanks to the rescuers who saved the snake and the people from each other. Great work, keep on going,” added a second person. “I'm glad we only have to deal with rattlesnakes in America,” added a third user.
