Viral Video: Not all heroes wear a cape, but many do wear a uniform and this man was one of those uniformed heroes that won the internet over with his braveness and humanity. A video of a firefighter was shared online, which immediately went viral as it left the internet impressed. The said man was seen rescuing a poor stray dog that was stuck in a frozen river. So with the aim to save the animal, the man used some tools and went out of his way to save the furry one from the freezing water. 

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘buitengebieden’. The post was captioned, “Firefighter rescues a dog stuck in an icy lake. Not all heroes wear a cape.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and impressed many. Most called the firefighter a hero for his brave rescue, while the rest recalled their own similar stories. Many also hailed the man for the daring act. The video was shared a day before yesterday and pulled a whipping 14M views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This firefighter is indeed a true hero! It takes a special kind of bravery and selflessness to risk one's own safety to rescue an animal in danger, and this firefighter showed just that, a user said. “It takes courage to be a kind person, not age. This is beautiful,” commented a second person. “Thank you human for your kindness,” said a third person. “Humanity will continue to exist,” added a next. “I can't believe he just walked right back in the water,” said the next. 

“This guy is a hero. I once pulled a dog from a river but it took so long, I was late and lost my job. I was ok with it though. I did the right thing,” added next. “The cutest firefighter on earth, loves animals like humans, I love animals, including dogs,” joined another.
