Street Musician Viral Video: Bollywood songs have a way of touching hearts no matter where you are in the world, and one street musician in Georgia has proved just that. A recent viral video shows a man playing the iconic Hindi song "Mera Joota Hai Japani" on his accordion in the streets of Tbilisi, leaving people emotional and amazed.
The soulful performance, captured and shared by Indian travel content creator Shreya, has caught the attention of many on Instagram. In the clip, the musician, who playfully calls himself the ‘Georgian Raj Kapoor’, pours his heart into the melody, reminding people how music and culture can cross borders and bring smiles.
Shreya joked in her caption, “When a random white guy in Tbilisi sings old Bollywood better than your cousins at antakshari.” In the comments, she added, “Not my wow. Didn’t have ‘white man in Georgia vibing to Mera Joota Hai Japani’ on my 2025 bingo card. Tipped him and walked away like I just funded art.”
The video has gone viral, with people from India and beyond appreciating the gesture and celebrating the timeless charm of Bollywood music.
