According to the report in Times Now, a large number of people, including children and women, are still stranded in the hotel. Also, the fire started in the cafeteria and later spread to the hotel. The hotel's 60 rooms took up nearly the whole space of its two floors.
Three fire tenders were dispatched to the scene as soon as the incident at the Papaya Tree Hotel started and were working to douse the flames, according to SP RS Nigwal. The fire, which had spread to two stories of the five-story structure, was put out with the help of more than 30 water tankers.
In addition, he said that the unexpected loss of electricity prevented the alarm from going off and caused the fire hydrant system to stop functioning. The hotel room's occupants were unaware of the fire. They became aware and fled to the balconies once the bitter smoke began to rise.
