Viral Video: Another leopard on loose triggered fear among people in Punjab’s Ludhiana after the big cat was spotted roaming inside a secured residential society. The invader was spotted on the CCTV cameras this morning, December 08. The Centra Greens Society, where the leopard was seen, went on special alert after the incident was made public. The video of the same was also shared on social media, which immediately went viral. The authorities, on the other hand, are trying to locate the animal. 

The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Gagan4344’. The post was captioned, “A leopard entered Central Green Society on Pakkhowal Road in Ludhiana late at night. A person living in the society spotted the leopard, and the visuals have been captured on the cameras installed in the society.”

The video is going viral on social media as people are sharing it to spread awareness and caution people about the big cat. Many also chastised the role of humanity in the dying forest life and dubbed it the result of the same. Some also expressed their surprise over such wildlife residing in Punjab. The video was shared today and pulled thousands of views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Delhi mai Sher ghum Raha hai..... City mai age ab janwar jungle mai kuch nahi bacha (A lion is roaming in Delhi. Animals are coming to the cities because there is nothing left in the jungles),” a user said. “Common people can't enter these communities, so many restrictions on common vehicles but leopard,” said a next.

“Punjab has such wildlife? Wow didn't know,” commented a next.
