Viral Video: Putting the online food delivery agents under the scanner, a questionable incident went viral on social media. A man, who seemingly ordered fries through Old Cabs, found the delivery boys casually munching on the food that he ordered, on the road. A video of the man confronting the accused was shared online which left people fuming. As per the viral post, the man was also asked for an extra Rs 10 by the delivery boys, only to make him wait for 45 minutes for the very food he paid for. However, the nightmare and the wait clearly did not end as the food was already opened and was being eaten.
The video, soon after getting shared, went viral on the internet. Most people were left angry and suggested that the man should have resolved it ‘violently’, while the rest suggested submitting a complaint in the consumer court. Some also recalled their own experiences with delivery partners.
The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Aman Birendra Jaiswal’. The post was captioned, “@olacabs This is how your food delivery partner is doing their job, first he said I'll take extra 10rs for coming, after denying for the first somehow I said ok come I'll give and then he kept me waiting for almost 45min and when I found him this is what he said.” The video was shared two days ago and pulled 47K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “It's not about fries, it's about not getting food when you're hungry... These people will eat anything if given for free,” a user said. “Never pay online for food always prefer cod I repeat,” added a second person. “Complaint about it in the Consumer court, a big fat cheque is coming home,” added another.
“Yesterday I ordered a good from Zomato in midnight and I slept I don't know how but the kind-hearted Zomato person waited for me for 45 minutes. I said sorry to him and gave him some extra money,” recalled a third person. “Bhai you can easily complain, their customer service gives more importance to customers than their delivery partners. They will find them,” added another.
