Viral Video: The phrase ‘if not friendly and then why friend shaped’ took the internet over after netizens saw an adorable video of a man cuddling and kissing a lion. Yes, believe it or not, despite how risky it sounds, the two looked rather cute in the clip as they embraced each other like a perfect duo of a furry one with its human friend. As per the clip, the lion’s name is Gorge, which only made the big cat further adorable as everyone expressed their desire to hug Gorge. However, despite the cuteness of the unique bond, many couldn't deny the fact that petting a big cat is a risk that can even cost people their lives, leading to a similar debate in the post’s comment section.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Shandor Larenty’. The post was captioned, “Friendship goals unlocked! George.” The video was shared a while back and pulled more than 64K likes from people.

Most people loved the bond the man and the big cat shared, while the rest dubbed the incident ‘risky’. Many also expressed their desire to pet the lion. The video, after getting shared, went viral almost immediately.

Taking to the comet section, people shared their take. “My toxic trait is that I’m sure I could go up to any of the murder kitties in the wild and they would recognize me as a friend and not harm me,” a user said. “Oh I want to cuddle that gorgeous mane,” added a second person. “Can I pet that DAAAWG?!!!” added a third person.
“It's a dream of mine to hug and cuddle and love big kitty's like that,” commented a fourth user. “You're officially the lion king now dude! Look at how much he respects you, wow, he is precious,” added a fifth person. “That's my dream..to hug this beautiful beast..unfortunately of course they will have to tranquilize him first!” added another.
