Viral Video: As far as the Indian streetside food is considered, it never gets old with some people coming up with ‘bizarre’ food combinations that are more of a ‘disaster’ and a torture to watch, than being considered edible. Exemplifying something similar, a video surfaced on social media, where a man was seen making a unique tea at a roadside stall. The man began with boiling the milk, and then added something that people hardly think of while making tea; almonds and rose petals. However, it was what came after these two that left netizens speechless and somewhat offended; butter. Yes, the vendor poured the boiled tea into a pan that had some butter in it. What was further surprising was the price of the unique beverage- Rs 100. As per the post, the stall was set up in Amritsar.

The food experiment clip mostly drew angry reactions as the food experiment did not sit well with most tea lovers. Many also suggested calling the drink coffee or almond shake instead of tea. The rest simply pulled jokes on the same.

The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Sukrit jain’. The post was captioned, “Amritsar ke sabse mehangi chai. Vo bhi 100rs ke ek glass baap re baap (Amritsar’s most expensive tea. The tea is worth Rs 100 per glass).” The video was shared two days ago and pulled more than 10K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Why is this called tea... Why don't almond declare shake,” a user said. “Chacha mutton masala aur dahi dalna bhool gaye (He completely forgot about Mutton Masala aur curd),” added a second person. “This is simply too much to take for today,” added another.

“Badam rose petals ilachi Tak theek tha but butter k bad wo chai nhi rhi. Butter is used in coffee, not tea (It was fine until almond, rose petals, ilaichi, but then after they added butter, it simply wasn't;e t tea anymore. Butter is used in coffee),” wrote another netizen. “That is simply badam shake,” added the next.
