TTE Viral video: Mostly it's an ugly showdown between passengers and only rarely a TT is also involved in a fight in public transport. But this one surely belonged to the rare category, as a video was shared online, where a TTE was seen brutally assaulting one of the passengers onboard a train. The entire incident was being recorded by another passenger sitting at what appeared to be the upper birth. As soon as the assaulter noticed the camera, he then began to aggressively reach for the cameraperson as well. As soon as the said clip went viral, it left many irked as netizens demanded action against the TT. 

Although the date and place were not confirmed, according to the viral post’s caption, the incident took place in the Barauni-Lucknow Express. 

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘askrajeshsahu’. The post was captioned, “The video is from today. TT is beating like this in Barauni-Lucknow Express (15203). Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw Sir, tell me whether these people have the freedom to beat like this? Are goons named after TT? Why is it in the system? The video is clear, take action. And yes, stop considering people as insects. Seeing all this makes me angry.”

Taking notice of the matter, the North Eastern Railway also commented and informed about the same TT getting suspended. “Taking immediate cognizance of the incident, the concerned TTE has been suspended with immediate effect,” the comment read. 

The video, soon after it was shared, went viral and angered many. Most people demanded action against the TT, while the rest chastised the man’s behaviour and raised questions on the law and order situation in the Indian Railways. Most netizens also tagged Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in the comment box. The post was shared today and pulled 660K views from people.

Taking to the internet, people shared their views. “First of all, this TT should be fired from the job, his pension should be stopped, then a case should be filed against him, he should be put in jail and beaten for two three months, and he should not get bail for years,” a user said. “After making the video, the work should have been done. Before keeping TT, please give them good training, once they are trained, Railways will start teaching them the rules and regulations of Railways. They should be terminated immediately,” added a second. 

“TT's job is to check tickets, who gave him the right to kill? @AshwiniVaishnaw Will TT also do hooliganism now? @RailMinIndia,” said another. 

“This TT should be arrested as soon as possible and strictest action should be taken. If I had been in that boy's place, that TT would have got a tremendous reply. Then I would have seen whatever happened later,” added next.
