Viral Video: Bangladesh has been witnessing nothing but chaos for the last few months. From protests to attacks on protesters and from a sudden resignation to the country’s Prime Minister fleeing to another country for her safety, Bangladesh saw quite a lot in a short period of time. However, ever since former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina resigned, it turned into a reason enough for her citizens to celebrate. Amid all the celebrations, a video came forward which claimed that ace Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was also one of the people who was dancing and celebrating Hasina’s resignation. Needless to say, the clip went viral and left people curious about its authenticity. And unsurprisingly enough, it later turned out that the man in question was Kohli’s lookalike.

The clip and its caption were quick to anger Indians once they realised the reality. The video went viral after being shared. Most people dubbed the post’s caption ‘misleading’ and asked to update it, while the rest shared jokes on the same.

For those unaware, Hasina ruled the country for 15 long years until she had to resign on August 05. She was facing heavy protests since July as the students wanted reform in the freedom fighter quota, which gave a 30 percent quota in Government jobs to the descendants of freedom fighters.

Coming back to the viral clip, the video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘zeyroxxie’. The post was captioned, “King Kohli joins the victory celebration at the streets of Chattogram, #Bangladesh.” The video was shared a few days back and pulled 140K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Lovely scenes there,” a user said. “Stop misleading. He is not Kohli,” added a second person. “For only 1 second I believe. Jokes apart, you should mention in the caption that he is Kohli’s lookalike. This is just misinformation. Please stop,” added another.

“Also Spiderman spotted. All heroes from around the world were somehow celebrating the resignation,” added another. “Kohli finding time from his busy schedule, the man, the myth, the legend!!” joked a fifth person. “From a distance, he looks more like a real Kohli.. LOL,” added a sixth person.
