Viral Video: It might be an endless source of information for the world, but the world itself is somewhat ‘done’ with the internet. And it sure is hard to blame people for the same as social media is, in fact, full of content that should have never existed in the first place. Exemplifying something similar, a video went viral, where a woman was seen jumping on an escalator. The ‘stunt lover’ in question was seemingly in a mall, whereas the escalator also had a few other passersby, which made the incident even more risky. The clip, soon after going viral, gained major criticism as people pointed out how risky the ‘stunt’ could have been.
Some also speculated that the woman was simply scared of stepping in and out of the escalator, hence, the jumping. Meanwhile, the rest disagreed.
The video is doing rounds on the internet, as the netizens had a lot to say. Most pointed out the risks involved in what she did, while the rest recalled their own scary instances with escalators. Many also chastised the woman’s behaviour.
The video was shared on social media Instagram, by the handle ‘ndahiya2021’. The post was captioned, “What just happened.” The video was shared a while back and pulled 313K likes from people.

Taking to the comments section, people shared their take. “It's dangerous to self and others on the escalator,” a user said. “She is lucky her clothes did not get caught under stairs. My son’s shoelace was pulled in and I had to remove his shoe quickly. Scary experience!” added a second person.
“What she did was VERY dangerous, her clothing could have gotten caught,” added a third person. “It is highly dangerous that scarf can get stuck inside while it interlock straight,” wrote a fourth person. “Too dangerous for the people in front of her,” commented another. “Shame on the ppl who did not help her, do you even know with the amount of torque that thing rotates,” added another.
