Viral Video: India is seemingly becoming a land of ‘creative people’, but for all the wrong reasons. Social media is full of videos and instances where all kinds of new and ‘creative’ scams come forward, triggering alarm among people to stay further alert. Exemplifying something similar, a video was shared online, where a few train passengers were seen confronting an alleged fake TTE. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral. As per the viral post, the incident took place on the Patalkot Express train, whereas the woman was later taken under the custody of the RPF for investigation. The date of the matter could not be confirmed.
The video, after being shared, went viral and left people reacting. Most chastised the lack of security in trains and public transport giving scammers chances to commit such scams, while the rest lauded the passengers for being alert enough to realise that the woman was a fake TTE.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘SachinGuptaUP’. The post was captioned, “Uttar Pradesh: Fake female TT caught in Patalkot Express train. RPF took the woman into custody in Jhansi, and interrogation is going on. Who wears a jacket in this heat? One needs intelligence to copy.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 436K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Madam does not know that educated and intelligent people also travel in trains,” a user said. “There is a lot of unemployment, everyone is looking for a job, now this girl has found employment in the train compartments, that's all!” added a second person.
“I don't understand that RPF jawans are present in such a big train but how come they don't know that a fake TT is roaming around in the train??? This girl cannot recover without anyone's help. If a proper investigation is done, some more officers or policemen may definitely be caught,” commented a third person.
