Viral Video: Leaving the entire internet community with a whole lot of questions and concerns over the law and order situation of the state, a woman in Uttar Pradesh went viral after her video of dancing with a gun surfaced online. What further triggered people was that she was sharing the stage with several kids. The video appeared to be from an event, while the woman was dancing to a regional song. The said video immediately began to do rounds on the internet for a variety of reasons and pulled reactions from people. Although the date and location were not confirmed, according to the viral post, the incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur. The caption further clarified that the pistol in the woman’s hand was ‘illegal’.
The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the user ‘Bobbysingh1239_’. The post was captioned, “Video of a woman dancing with a pistol goes viral. Woman dancing with illegal pistol. Video being reported from Deoband police station of Saharanpur.”

The video immediately went viral and raised several questions on the law and order situation in UP. Many dubbed it ‘normal’ for UP, especially when it comes to remote areas, while others expressed their concerns over a possible accident that might take place. Many also pointed out the presence of a child near the gun. The video was shared today and pulled a few views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “What even is this and why are guns glorified so unnecessarily,” a user said. “This was not at all required,” added a second. “Uttar Pradesh and Bihar really do have their own rules and regulations. And this was not at all a compliment. This is concerning,” added a third. “Just like the US, gun glorification has really taken over the country in recent years. This is just so sad,” added a fourth.
“This is how deadly accidents take place in weddings. The type could have been easily avoided,” joined a fifth. “This type of violence glorification is concerning,” said the next.
