Viral Video: When it comes to creativity, India can surely go overboard. Social media is full of videos and other content proving the same, where desi DIYs and Jugaads left the rest with dropped jaws and wide eyes out of amazement. Adding another DIY to the list, a video recently came forward, where some young girls had a unique method for curling their hair. Believe it or not, the said girls used a hot iron rod for curling and styling their hair, leaving the internet impressed. Although the idea was surely pure genius, it still left one of the girls with a scar as it was nonetheless risky, because of the absence of any protective layer around the rod.
The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Himanshu Parmar’. The post was captioned, “It’s truly said that India is not for the beginners.” The video was shared a while back and pulled 508K likes from people.

The video, soon after getting shared on social media, went viral. Most people advocated the girls’ decision of using an iron rod stating that not everyone could afford an expensive curler, while the rest found the idea adorable. Some also expressed concerns about the other girl's ear.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “What's her address? I wanna gift them a hair curler,” a user said. “Found it extremely cute! They’re Happy with what they have. Dyson wouldn’t give you that much happiness!” added a second person. “She was being very careful but the cameraman distracted her,” added a third person.
“Not everyone can afford Dyson, They are teaching us how to live happily with small things,” added a fourth person. “So innocent of her for not saying a word to her,” added a fifth user. “Even to this day this method of curling is followed by hair artists for big events like Met and Vogue covers, her method is correct she just needs practice wrapping hair and unwrapping and she will be well sought after,” added another.
