Gone are the days when social media influencers were hailed blindly, as countless videos and incidents proving them to be fake are coming forward. Netizens have started calling out these influencers for creating scripted scenarios to gain followers. A video of a woman faking a social service is doing rounds on the internet. The video shows the woman cleaning a beach while being recorded by a friend. After their content was recorded, the women shamelessly left the garbage bag behind.
The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS'. The post was captioned, "To look like you care about the environment."

The video began with two women filming on a beach. One of the women was seen recording, while the other collected garbage in a garbage bag. The video then showed the woman struggling to take away the garbage bag, while the other one recorded her. She even danced a bit before moving to another location. Once the act was complete, the two women left the garbage bag behind.
The clip went viral as it was viewed a million times since it has been posted. The viral video and the women’s act left many viewers disappointed and they took to the comment section to share their take.

“Tiktok needs to be deleted,” a user wrote. “Pretty Trashy behaviour,” said a second person. “Moral of the story: Be careful who you follow,” commented a third viewer. “Shame on them. Just for sake of getting followers,” said a fourth. “Who is this? Why has not one person posted who the creator is to hold them accountable?!” asked a fifth. “If u really want your generations to enjoy nature , forests, wildlife , beaches then we really need to do conservation efforts. Not for getting followers using fake reels. Agree?” joined a sixth. “Duplicitous fraudster. be careful who you follow online! I hope they found out who it was and that the followers wised up and left,” added Seventh.
