Viral X Post: A man single-handedly ended up uniting countless desis after he shared a ‘unique’ financial take on a social media post. As per the man’s post, Rs 25 LPA salary was not enough for a family of three. Calling the otherwise dream-like package for millions in the country ‘too little’ to sustain a nuclear family, the man also shared a calculation where he ‘clarified’ his approach. As per the man, the family after spending on EMIs, rents, and other daily needs, wouldn't be left with anything to invest. However, as soon as the post went viral, it hardly impressed anyone. In fact, the man was quick to get trolled.
The post, soon after getting shared, pulled many reactions. Most people found the X post ‘nonsensical’, while the rest dubbed it a ‘clickbait’. A few also mocked the man’s ‘financial understanding’.
The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Dutta_Souravd’. The post was captioned, “25 LPA is too little for running a family. 25 LPA = in hand 1.5L per month. A family of 3 would spend 1L on essentials, EMI / rent. 25K for eating out, movies, OTT, day trips. 25K for emergency and medical. Nothing left to invest.” The post was shared a while back and pulled 444K views from people.
