Viral Video: In a time where tempers flare quicker than ever, a shocking incident has caught everyone's attention. A woman was seen in a viral video slapping a man who, as per reports, is her husband, right in the middle of a busy street.
The video, now widely shared on social media, captures the woman aggressively confronting the man outside a shop. She is heard yelling that he doesn’t bring in any money and lives off her income. Things quickly got out of hand as she grabbed his collar, screamed at him, and slapped him several times, all while a group of onlookers simply stood by and watched, choosing not to interfere.
The man, visibly embarrassed and helpless, tried to hold her hand in a weak attempt to stop the blows. His silence and stillness only made the incident more disturbing to watch. While fights between couples aren’t new, taking private issues to the streets and turning them into public spectacles is something society is struggling to deal with. This incident has now become a talking point about respect, gender roles, and where to draw the line between frustration and abuse.

Netizens were quick to voice their thoughts some were shocked by the woman’s aggressive behaviour, while others questioned the deeper issue of double standards in relationships.
One user expressed disbelief, writing, “What even?! Who gave her the right to publicly shame him?” Another echoed the sentiment with a quote from comedian Chris Rock: “Only women, children & dogs are loved unconditionally.” A third user wrote, “I think the Indian legal system allows husbands to claim alimony in such cases. He should seriously consider it.” “This seems deeper. I doubt he’s actually unemployed. These public fights, or ‘kalesh,’ are getting way too common,” wrote one.
