One does not need to be a potential bride or a groom to understand the excitement two lovers go through during the time of wedding planning. Displaying something similar, a social media post was shared online, which showed two potential matches discussing their engagement plans and dates. However, the plans were quick to go down the drain the minute the man revealed something that the woman surely did not see coming. Correcting his previously mentioned salary- Rs 30 LPA- the man revealed that his corrected salary was Rs 3 LPA. As soon as the post was shared, it pulled a mixed reaction.

Most people blamed the man for the stark difference between the correct and the mistaken salary, while the rest speculated that the woman wanted to use the man for his ‘alimony’. A few also found the conversation scripted.

The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘KishwarSiff’. The post was captioned, “She was nice all these days until I pointed out my typo error.” The post was shared a while back and pulled more than 392K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “A full-fledged @gharkekalesh is going on with those ladies today,” a user said. “If it's a second attempt, background verification is a must. Even if the background was mutual, collect the initial filling... They might've filed for Alimony and later agreed for mutual. Once a gold digger, always a gold digger. Learn or perish,” added a second person.

“This typo is like- Sorry, I made a typo in the gender field. Should be F instead of M,” added a third person. “She not marrying him, practically she marrying his salary, man doesn’t earn more money because society, family, system, female keep on forcing your marriage, if do find a place where you can leave without these female brokers, otherwise your life will become hell,” added another.
