Viral Video: Parenting is hard, and this video is the very proof of the same. The video was shared on social media, where a family was all set to celebrate a birthday. The video began with a sibling duo happily ready to blow the birthday candle and cut a slice of what appeared to be a cheesecake. However, as soon as the younger girl blew out the candle, the elder brother went ahead and cut the cake. It’s safe to assume that the elder sibling’s ‘intervention’ was not part of the younger one’s plan, which left her in tears. Rushing in to calm the crying girl down, the mother repeatedly tried to tell the little one to cut another cake, but that hardly worked. As the girl continued to cry, it was then revealed by another family member that it wasn’t even the little one’s birthday but the big day of her mother.
The revelation was quick to enter the kid into the ‘spoilt’ category as per many. Perhaps that’s why most people loved how the mother and the rest of the family handled the girl’s tantrums; by ignoring her! As the girl continued to cry, the family began to sing Happy Birthday and smile while also ignoring her.
The kid video, after getting shared, went viral and pulled many reactions. Most people found the little girl ‘entitled’, while the rest appreciated the woman for handling the matter well. Some were also left confused over whose birthday it was.
The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Upasana, Avi & Ava’. The post was captioned, “The best moment of my birthday.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The family literally took ‘Ignorance is bliss’ to their heart,” a user said. “Ok this girl has a totally normal reaction, it is her elder brother who needs a lesson that it was supposed to be her special day. She totally deserves all the attention in the entire world,” added a second person.
