Viral Video: An Uber passenger single-handedly ticked half the desis the wrong way, after her video of misbehaviour and abusing her cab driver went viral on social media. The incident, as per the viral post, was triggered after the cab allegedly broke down midway, due to which the cab driver ended the ride. However, the woman then allegedly began to demand a refund, to which the driver refused. As per the post, the driver himself was not paid, so he asked the woman to issue a complaint to Uber customer care, as it was the company that was supposedly responsible for the refund and not the driver.
As the argument continued, the woman’s behaviour visibly deteriorated, which left the internet irked. Sharing the incident on social media, many asked the internet to report the woman and bring justice to the driver.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh b/w Lady Passenger and Uber Driver.”

As the incident began to majorly float online, Uber also released a statement on the matter, which read, “We believe respect is a two way street and there is no place for threatening, discriminatory and inappropriate behaviour on the Uber platform. Any proven discriminatory behaviour may lead to penalties including removal of user's access from the Uber app and we will be guided by our community guidelines in all such cases, including this one.”

The video went viral and left netizens irked. Most criticised the woman for her behaviour and demanded action against her. The rest cracked jokes over her remarks during the argument. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 273K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “If someone knows her, let me know. Would like to send her 150 rupees in chillad,” a user said. “Karma will be given by nature to such 'battameez' women. They will remain single for the rest of their lives since there has to be an eventual break up for them, they have lost femininity with time. But remember, nature is brutal to give it back. Loneliness for decades is not fun. But they will be toxic like this even then,” added another.

“Time for @Uber to exit India. Mutually incompatible. Uber is greedy; the drivers are unethical,” commented the next. “I had the same experience that Uber cab stopped due to some issue but instead of fighting, I booked another cab and moved on. Why unnecessary fight,” wrote a fourth person. “She is asking him to sell the car. I think she is a second-hand car dealer,” added another.
