Apart from the ticket that is sometimes expensive to the level that people rework their travel plans or change the destination altogether, aeroplanes are also quite famous for their bizarrely overpriced food. Anyone who has boarded a flight even once in their life must be aware of the menu, where a simple sandwich may cost Rs 300 or more. It, of course, depends from flight to flight, but their competition is mostly about 'who is selling it for more', and not less.

Now, a receipt of a 'Masala Maggi' is going viral on social media, where the price of the noodles is Rs 193. The only speciality of this extremely expensive Maggi was that it was cooked and served in the air, on an aeroplane. A woman named Sejal Sud shared an image of the receipt on her Twitter handle. Captioning the post as "I just bought Maggi for ₹193 at the airport. And I don’t know how to react, why would anyone sell something like Maggi at such an inflated price," the woman expressed her astonishment over the matter.

The netizens were quick to react to see such an overpriced plate of Maggi, the noodles that are especially known for being affordable household snacks. Joining the complaint trail, a user commented, "It’s selling at 250 in Indigo flights as well … AAI needs to put a cap on the rates for consumers to survive their pockets & hunger as well."

Another user had a fun intake as they wrote, "I guess this maggie is made on aviation fuel!!!!! Just may be!!!" However, a third user added another jibe over the matter and said, "Jab bahar 300 ki choti cappuccino piyoge tab ye dard kum ho jaaega."

Such incidents are not that rare, as many people are coming forward with experiences where they were served next to none but were charged a lot. And flights and their food are one of the major reasons for most of these complaints.
