The cricketer arrived in a black t-shirt with the words “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” printed across the front. The Alimony Settlement
Speculation about the alimony had been swirling for months, with earlier rumors suggesting that Dhanashree had demanded a whopping Rs 60 crore. As per court documents, Chahal agreed to pay Rs 4.75 crore as permanent alimony. However, he has only paid Rs 2.37 crore so far, with the remaining amount still pending.
Court’s Decision And Legal Proceedings:
The court waived the six-month cooling-off period, allowing them to speed up the divorce process. However, since Chahal hadn’t paid the full alimony yet, the case faced minor delays due to non-compliance issues. After nearly four years of marriage and living separately for a year, their divorce was officially granted. Confirming the decision, Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin Kumar Gupta, stated, "The court has accepted their joint petition, and they are no longer husband and wife."
The viral video was shared on Instagram by user @snehzala just a few hours ago, and it has already racked up 47K views from social media users. While their divorce was already a widely discussed topic, Chahal’s t-shirt turned it into a viral moment. Social media users had mixed reactions—some saw it as a power move, while others believed it was unnecessary. Be your own Sugar Daddy." Meanwhile, a third user quipped, "Bhai khel gaya T-shirt pehen ke," acknowledging the cricketer’s unexpected fashion statement.
