Canada Shooting: In a tragic incident, at least 10 people were killed and over 25 others got severely injured in a shooting at a secondary school in Canada. While expressing grief over the incident, Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney paid condolences to the families of the victims. The officials stated that two people with serious injuries have been airlifted for better treatment, adding that a detailed probe has been launched. Here is the list of other deadliest attacks on the educational institutes across the world.
Beslan school attack: In one of the deadliest school attacks, over 330 people died in a three-day terrorist attack in Beslan, Russia, back in 2004. The Russian government later confirmed that the majority of the dead people were children.
Virginia: Over 30 people died and 23 others got injured after an undergraduate student carried out shootings in a classroom building at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007.
Kabul bombing: A suicide bomber detonated explosives inside the classroom at the Kaaj Education Centre in Kabul in September 2022, claiming the lives of at least 50 students.
Peshawar school massacre: In one of the deadliest attacks, 149 people were killed at the Army Public School in Peshawar after a group of gunmen entered the school and opened fire on children and teachers.
Connecticut attack: Earlier in 2012, at least 27 people, including 20 children, were killed in a mass shooting incident at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Robb Elementary School massacre: In a firing incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, 21 people died after a gunman opened fire on the students and teachers. As per the officials, the shooter attacked the students for fame.
Columbine High School: At least 10 people were killed after two students carried out a shooting and bombing at Columbine High School back in 1999.
