United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday shared a video showing massive explosions at a site. The clip posted without any captions and explanation, shows multiple blasts and huge fires lighting up the night sky. The development comes as the conflict between the United States and Iran enters its fifth week with no signs of easing.
Were Bunker Buster Bombs Used?
According to reports, the video is of joint strikes carried out by the United States and Israel on a major ammunition depot in Isfahan, Iran. Powerful bunker-buster bombs designed to destroy underground targets were reportedly used to hit the site. The War Street Journal reported, citing an official, that the US military hit a large ammunition depot in Isfahan with 2,000-pound bunker buster bombs. The video shows strong explosions, sending fireballs up the sky.

Trump Threatens To ‘Obliterate’ Iran’s Energy Sector
The video of strikes comes a day after Trump warned that Iran’s energy infrastructure, including oil facilities and nuclear sites, could be “obliterated” if a deal to end the war is not reached soon. Amid this, the White House on Monday claimed that the deployment of additional US troops in West Asia provides Trump with "maximum optionality" in the ongoing conflict in the region.
Earlier on March 27, Trump had announced he would pause attacks on Iran's energy plants for 10 days at Tehran's request and said talks with Iran were going very well. However, Iran dismissed a US proposal for ending nearly four weeks of fighting as "one-sided and unfair."
Isfahan
Isfahan is central to Tehran’s nuclear programme. The city has key military and nuclear-related facilities, including the Badr airbase. While some reports claim that Iran may have moved enriched uranium to underground sites in the city, it is not yet confirmed.
