The Israel Defence Force on Monday said they have destroyed as many as 450 Hamas targets in the last 24 hours across the Palestinian territory Gaza. The Israeli forces took control of a Hamas military compound that has the latter’s observation posts, training areas and underground terror tunnels.

Besides, Jamal Mussa, the leader of the organization's special security operations, was killed by the IDF based on intelligence.
“Over 450 Hamas targets were struck, including terrorists, military compounds, observation posts, anti-tank missile launch posts and more. IDF ground troops took control of a Hamas military compound—containing observation posts, training areas for Hamas operatives and underground terror tunnels—in Gaza. Based on ISA and IDF intelligence, IDF fighter jets neutralized Jamal Mussa, who was responsible for the special security operations of Hamas,” IDF said while divulging details of its operation in Gaza in the past 24 hours.

Health authorities in Palestine, however, said Israeli strikes killed dozens of people. They said over 9,770 Palestinians have been killed in the war since Hamas killed 1,400 people and seized more than 240 Israeli hostages on October 7.

Israel launched a massive counteroffensive against Palestinian militant movement Hamas after the latter, in a surprise attack, showered as many as 5,000 missiles in Israeli territory on October 7.
